WirelessBoot
Wireless Boot is a boot loader system for ESP32 MCU. You can download firmware, exchange information, and print logs through WiFi. Therefor, devices no longer requires a USB-UART bridge, which can reduce the hardware cost of the system and reduce device size.
The Capsule Sensor V3 had already includes the WirelessBoot system by default.
Modular design
A BTB interface reserved at the bottom, capable of connecting and replacing different sensors. Meet with your different application scenarios and needs.
Stylish and lightweight
It weighs 23g, tiny in size. Placing your Capsule Sensor inside your favorite places is now easier than ever with the lanyard loop string.
Strong extensibility
Various applications such as Meshtastick, child education, asset tracking, environmental monitoring, etc. can be implemented by replacing modules.
FAQ
It depends on how it works. The Capsule Sensor V3 is positioned as a portable LoRa/LoRaWAN device, with a 250mAh rechargeable battery. However, the capsule sensor V3 have a good low-power design, ~15uA in deep sleep mode. As our test, it can transmit about 6000 times LoRa packet when it is fully charged.
For example, if the data is sent every hour, it can continue to work for more than 6 months.
Almost all LoRa based communications, including Paxcounter, Disaster Radio, Meshtatic, LoRaWAN, LoRa P2P, etc
Considering the overall structure and volume, the Capsule Sensor V3 adopts a built-in antenna, and the communication distance measured in open areas is 2.5Km
Through the Wireless Boot system, you can program it directly through an IDE such as Arduino, or upgrade it using OTA on web pages
Capsule Sensor V3 is compatible with almost all LoRaWAN gateways on the market. You can also choose a Heltec LoRaWAN gateway.
