Summary
This long-range communicator based on Wi-Fi HaLow can replace Ethernet cables in certain scenarios. IEEE 802.11ah protocol, HT-HD01 operates in the unlicensed SUB-1G frequency band (902–928 MHz). It offers four bandwidth modes (1/2/4/8 MHz), with a maximum transmit power of 21±1 dBm and data rates of up to 32.5 Mbps@8M.
It has two typical usage scenarios:
- Cooperate with HT-H7608 HaLow router to achieve star networking.
- Pairing two HT-HD01 devices for point-to-point communication.

The hardware is completely identical, only the firmware downloaded is different. AP and STA can be converted to each other

- Connect to the 2.4GWi-Fi provided by the dongle and enter “192.168.1.1” or “10.42.0.1” in the browser (depending on the mode of operation of the device, if you are not sure which one to enter, you can try both). You will see the IP of the connected device and the IP of the Dongle itself.
Do not enter the configuration mode via Wi-Fi while connecting the network cable. If this situation occurs, please unplug the power and network cable, and then re-enter the configuration mode.
Yes, AP can be directly connected to routers through Ethernet cables.
