Summary
This long-range communicator based on Wi-Fi HaLow can replace Ethernet cables in certain scenarios. IEEE 802.11ah protocol, HT-HD01 operates in the unlicensed SUB-1G frequency band (902–928 MHz). It offers four bandwidth modes (1/2/4/8 MHz), with a maximum transmit power of 27±1 dBm and data rates of up to 32.5 Mbps@8M.
It has two typical usage scenarios:
- Cooperate with HT-H7608 HaLow router to achieve star networking.
- Pairing two HT-HD01 devices for point-to-point communication.

At least TWO HT-HD01 can be paired for use, or cooperate with a HaLow router.
The default 2.4G FPC antenna is located on the side of the plastic screen bracket.
If you wish to use an IPEX-connected 2.4G antenna, you need to remove the inductor marked as ① in the diagram below, and add a 0-ohm resistor (or other conductive metal or cable) at the position marked ② to connect to the IPEX interface.

Since V4 uses the same series of chips as V3, features the same OLED, and has an almost identical pin layout, V3 and V4 can be used interchangeably in the majority of cases.

Try using a different USB cable.
Enter BootLoader mode. There are two methods to enter this mode:
Hold down the PRG button, connect the USB-C cable, then release the PRG button.
Connect the USB-C cable, hold down the PRG button, press the RST button once, then release the PRG button.
This area is attached with a 2.4G FPC antenna, and to avoid affecting its performance, customized plastic screws are used here. That’s why they look different from ordinary screws.

The hardware is completely identical, only the firmware downloaded is different. AP and STA can be converted to each other

- Connect to the 2.4GWi-Fi provided by the dongle and enter “192.168.1.1” or “10.42.0.1” in the browser (depending on the mode of operation of the device, if you are not sure which one to enter, you can try both). You will see the IP of the connected device and the IP of the Dongle itself.
Do not enter the configuration mode via Wi-Fi while connecting the network cable. If this situation occurs, please unplug the power and network cable, and then re-enter the configuration mode.
Yes, AP can be directly connected to routers through Ethernet cables.
You can check by observing the silk print on the device: V1 and V1.1 are 21±1 dBm, while V2 is 27±1 dBm.
